We are going full steam into an electoral and constitutional crisis. We have a sitting President who has refused to commit to a peaceful transfer of power and who is calling on armed terrorists to support him.
If all the candidates for office around the country take a public position that they're willing to wait for the wheels of democracy to work in challenging times, this could be an effective way to avert a disaster. We know that counting mail-in ballots could delay election results for as much as a couple weeks. All we need is patience.
